About our tasty Opportunity:

This is a 12 month fixed term contract

At Hilton Foods, having the right people in the right place at the right time is essential to delivering operational excellence. We're looking for a highly organised and analytical Workforce Planning Coordinator to provide workforce visibility, coordinate labour planning activities and support effective labour allocation across our Heathwood site.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in monitoring workforce availability against production requirements, identifying labour gaps and resourcing risks, and providing accurate workforce reporting and insights to support operational decision-making. Working closely with Production and Operations leaders, Payroll, P&C; and labour hire providers, you'll help improve labour utilisation, roster effectiveness and workforce planning processes while driving greater efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain visibility of workforce availability across all departments and shifts.




- Monitor labour requirements against production forecasts and operational plans.
- Coordinate labour planning activities to support daily and weekly staffing requirements.
- Identify labour shortages, excess coverage and resourcing risks and escalated where required.
- Ensure workforce reporting is accurate, timely and reliable.
- Support labour hire planning and agency workforce requirements.
- Assist operational leaders to match available labour with production requirements.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly workforce planning reports.

What do you need to bring:

- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated and applied knowledge of workforce planning, scheduling and Production Facility methodologies and reporting principles.
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical, numerical reasoning and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret trend, output, and outcome performance data to drive performance review and improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic planning, review workforce planning policies and practices and develop and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Experience using workforce management software and applications.
- Previous experience and applied knowledge with workplace industrial instruments
