We specialise in overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electricity distribution networks, providing expert civil and electrical solutions for residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.

The Role

This newly created role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the groups HV infrastructure operations across NSW. You will be responsible for maintaining the Group's HV infrastructure, supporting project delivery, assisting with tendering activities, and helping drive the growth of our HV capability

What You’ll Do

- Maintain, service, test and commission the Group's HV infrastructure assets
- Perform HV switching and fault-finding activities
- Assist with tender preparation, quotations and project planning
- Manage and deliver customer projects from inception through to completion
- Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards and regulations




- Support the ongoing development and growth of Syscon's HV services

What We’re Looking For

- Current HV switching qualification and relevant HV tickets
- Experience working on HV infrastructure, substations, distribution networks or industrial HV assets
- Strong technical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Experience assisting with project delivery and customer-facing work
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Qualifications

- Australian Electrical Trade Qualifications
- Current CPR/LVR certificate
- Construction White Card
- Valid driver’s licence

Highly Regarded

- HV Switching or Access Permit Receiver Certificates
- Experience with HV cable jointing, terminating, and testing
- HV protection testing experience
- High-risk work licences (EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights, etc.)
