Concrete Finisher – Waffle Pod Slabs (Residential)

We are a well-established concreting business specialising in residential house slabs (primarily waffle pods) across Western Sydney. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work through various builders, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our crew.

About the Role

You will be working as part of a tight, efficient crew delivering high-quality slab work from start to finish.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their finish and can work at pace.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare sites and ensure slabs are ready for pouring
- Set up and align formwork to plans
- Install and position reinforcement (mesh/rebar)
- Carry out concrete pours and monitor consistency
- Perform screeding, trowelling, and finishing to a high standard
- Conduct quality checks and fix any defects
- Maintain strong site safety practices (PPE required)
- Work closely with builders,



supervisors, and team members
- Keep accurate records of concrete usage and adjustments
- Maintain clean and organised work areas
- Problem-solve during pours and finishing stages

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher (essential)
- Strong ability to screed and finish confidently
- Experience with waffle pod slabs
- Good understanding of formwork and reinforcement
- Ability to read and follow plans
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding work

Requirements

- White Card (essential)
- Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Own transport (preferred)
