We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our culinary team, with a specialised focus on artisanal breads and laminated pastries. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in craft, consistency, and producing exceptional product day after day.

The Role

This role will take ownership of our daily bread and laminated pastry production. You will be responsible for delivering product that is consistently refined, high-quality, and reflective of the Calile standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Producing a range of artisanal breads with consistency in quality, flavour and presentation.
- Executing laminated pastries to a high standard - croissants, pain au chocolat, and seasonal variations.
- Managing fermentation, dough handling and lamination techniques with precision.
- Upholding strict quality control across all baked products.
- Contributing to recipe development and seasonal menu offerings.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards at all times.
- Running an organised, efficient workspace that supports the broader kitchen team.

About You





- Proven experience as a Baker in a high-end bakery, restaurant, or hotel environment
- Strong technical skills in bread production and lamination
- Passionate about craft, detail and continuous improvement
- Comfortable working early mornings in a rapid-paced kitchen
- A team player with a calm, professional approach
