About the Role
Alchin Long Group (ALG) is looking for an entry- level Quality Control Officer to join our manufacturing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career, or looking to transition into manufacturing, who is keen to develop skills in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role, working across both the shop floor and office, supporting inspections, reporting, and quality initiatives across production.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with quality checks across production and warehouse
- Conduct basic inspections on parts and finished products
- Use measuring tools (training provided)
- Identify and report defects and quality issues
- Support identification of defects and quality issues
- Assist with NCRs and quality documentation
- Collaborate with production and assembly teams
- Maintain quality records and reports
About You
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or a trade environment (or willingness to learn)
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic understanding of quality or interest in developing in this area
- Comfortable working hands-on in a workshop environment
- Willingness to learn how to read drawings and use measuring tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
Desirable (not essential):
- Trade background or technical qualification
- Exposure to engineering drawings
- Experience with quality systems or inspections
