QBCC Site Supervisor/Builder for Building Inspections

Residential Building Inspector role in Cairns. Site-based position for a builder or supervisor. $90-110k + car + super. Must be willing to travel to Mackay and Townsville on occasion.

THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for aBuilding Inspectorto join the team in Cairns, working primarily acrossresidential projects. This is asite-based role, ideal for aSupervisor or Builderlooking to step into a more structured, long-term career while still being hands-on and out on site.

The role will involve:

- Conductingon-site residential building inspections
- Ensuring compliance with theNCC and relevant legislation
- Working closely with builders and contractors
- Identifying defects and providing practical solutions




- Supporting the certification process through inspection stages

ABOUT YOU

- Background as aBuilder or Supervisor (essential)
- QBCC Licenced
- Strong experience acrossresidential construction projects
- Solid understanding of construction methods and site practices
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Positive communication skills and confidence dealing with site teams
- Organised and detail-oriented
