MCA Suspension is searching for a capable Administrative Assistant to support the Director and ensure the smooth running of the daily operations of the business. This person will be responsible for customer communication, scheduling and general day-to-day support for the director and the workshop team.
The Role
You’ll report directly to the Director/Owner of MCA suspension and will be responsible for helping manage the workflow across the business, supporting customer communication, workshop operations and office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer communication via phone and email – Some of these communications require automotive experience and mechanical aptitude
- Administrative support to the Director; scheduling installs, maintaining records and databases
- Creating invoices and inputting orders into our database
- Staying on top of orders, job progress and workflow coordination through the workshop
- Keeping the admin side of the business organised and consistent
- Taking pride in what you do and contributing to a positive, calm and productive environment
- Helping to keep the team on track and assisting them with any information they may need for jobs
What we are looking for
- A minimum of 2-3 years of admin experience, preferably in a similar role within a small business
- Strong Communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent time management with the ability to manage your own time and stay on top of tasks
- Solid attention to detail is essential to succeed in this role
- Must be reliable, punctual, efficient and adaptable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software and systems
- Interest in cars,
some mechanical knowledge is a must and motorsport/driving experience would be highly regarded. This is an important factor for this role, as you will need to be able to learn about suspension and how it works so that you can discuss it with customers in detail. You will need to understand the real-world effect of suspension setups to help customers select the best suspension for their application and also to troubleshoot if needed.
What we offer
- Four-day week, Monday to Thursday
- Public Holidays and time off over the Christmas and New Year's time period
- $34-$42 an hour dependant on experience and suitability
