Casual Position

The Role

We are offering a unique and rewarding opportunity to join me and my amazing team, as a support worker. Due to the nature of the position we require a FEMALE team member. The position is casual however we are seeking individuals who are looking for long-term employment.

This is a unique position as I require intricate and complex assistance in my day-to-day life and running of my home.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Personal care

Food preparation / cooking

Domestic cleaning

Assistance with hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy

Traveling to and assistance with social outings and events

Hoist transfers with slings

Assisting day-to-day running of the home

Help me to achieve personal goals

Assisting with care of the family dogs including food, water and walks.

Interstate travel will pop up from time to time. Travel can vary from a day trip down the coast to a few weeks away.

Pay rate: $35 per hour with evening, weekend and public holiday penalty rates.

You may be required for hours including but are not limited to day time, evening and sleepover shifts,



both weekdays and weekends. Shifts are currently routinely scheduled but are subject to slight changes to start and finishes times. Sleepover shifts are part of rostering on an irregular basis with as much notice given where possible.

About Me:

I am a friendly, positive, fun-loving, sincere, and genuine lady in her 40’s who loves life and all it has to offer and am looking for someone with a similar outlook to join my team of support workers.I am in an electric wheelchair with hemiplegia.

Qualifications and Attributes

To be considered for this position youmusthave a valid and current full drivers licence, WWVP and first aid certificate and cert 3 individual support.

Other significant attributes to be successful for this position include:

Able to show and take initiative

Able to work as part of a team

Hardworking / energetic

Professionally discrete in all matters and situations, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
