Disability Support Worker: Experience with Challenging Behaviors

Reliability Support & Care Services – Redland Bay QLD

We are seeking recent team members for multiple shifts including:

Pre and post school shifts in the Capalaba area, who have experience with challenging behaviors.

- Morning shift 6:30 to 8:45
- Afternoon shift 2:30 to 6:00

This is for a Female Support Worker. Experience with challenging behaviors is necessary. Shifts typically involve afternoon pick up from school and bringing home for the evening routine which includes personal care and meals.

Support for age care and blind participants.

There are various shifts available for assisting with shopping, going to appointments, domestic assistance, and social inclusion. These are for male or female workers. We value your experience and provide on the job training.

Nursing or Allied Health students are encouraged to apply. We support you by working with your schedule.

Your Experience:

We endeavor to support our participants in the community doing what they love to do, whilst supporting the community with their involvement in the lives of people with a disability.

Must haves:

- Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Cert III in Disability or equivalent




- Availability and flexibility to attend shifts
- Minimum 1 year of disability support experience is required, including family caregiving, personal care
- Up to date Flu and Covid vaccines

Desirable:

- Experience with challenging behaviours
- Eperience working with teenagers
- Love of music, arts and crafts
