About the Role

This is an excellent chance for a Graduate Solicitor to joinour Personal Injury team at entry-level. Ideally, you will be a recent lawgraduate, about to be admitted, or recently admitted to legal practice. Weappreciate you may not have a background or experience in Personal Injury; whatmatters most is your genuine passion and your eagerness to build a career.

Key duties and responsibilities

Provision of legal advice and matter management

- Withinthe requirements of our client's engagement;
- Accept,comprehend and carry out promptly tasks and instructions from team membersin accordance with our Work Plans;
- Understandand follow team reporting and follow-up procedures to ensure yourallocated Work Plan tasks are carried out and followed up untilcompletion;
- Showinitiative in providing feedback on ongoing development of Work Plans andour Review procedures;
- Participatein and contribute to conferences and meetings with plaintiffs, expertwitnesses and Counsel;

Professional Development

- Participatingin relevant internal or external continuing qualified programs andworkshops;
- Attendingand participating in team meetings and wider firm team meetings.

Administration and practice management





- Maintainingelectronic time sheets of all work done on an ongoing basis in real-time;
- Ensuringelectronic files are up to date and matters in files are properly savedwithin the system, and renamed according to our file naming protocols;
- Monitorthe payment of disbursements and manage databases of disbursements paidand outstanding.
- Arrangeand facilitate video conferences.

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

- Acompleted Law degree.
- Admissionto practice as a solicitor in NSW or near Admission.
- Highmotivation for a career in Personal Injury.
- Apositive attitude toward dealing with clients, and a motivation to engagewith clients diligently and patiently.
