Play and Potential (PnP) Early Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader/ECT, to join our dynamic early childhood education team in Old Toongabbie, NSW. There are full-time and part time opportunities available, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping the educational program and practice at our nurturing childcare home.
What you'll be doing
As the Educational Leader/ECT,
- Providing educational leadership, mentoring and support to the teaching team
- Developing, implementing and evaluating the centre's educational program to ensure it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Maintaining an engaging, play-based learning environment that fosters children's holistic development
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement and quality assurance of the service
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for all children.
- Build strong, positive partnerships with families and communicate openly about their child's day and progress.
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our centre.
- Maintain compliance with all regulations, including the National Quality Framework (NQF), and PnP policies.
What we're looking for
- A Master or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in NSW
- Experiences in an educational leader or senior educator role is preferred
- Ability to mentor and guide a team of early childhood educators is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
