About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Service Technician to join our Service and Rental Department. In this role, you will assist with the assessment, servicing, repair, cleaning, and maintenance of a wide range of healthcare equipment. You will work alongside experienced team members while developing your technical skills and knowledge. You'll also help provide technical support and excellent customer service to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is technically minded, enjoys hands‑on work, and is eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with service repairs and maintenance within agreed timeframes.
- Support pre-installation assessments and equipment assembly.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain rental fleet equipment upon return.
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing equipment under guidance from senior technicians.
- Provide information to support customer quotes and service enquiries.
- Assist in responding to customer enquiries and technical issues in a qualified manner.




- Support workshop and onsite service activities as required.
- Follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Technically minded and keen to learn new skills.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and following manuals or user guides.
- A good communicator with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Able to work independently when required and as part of a team.
- Empathetic and respectful when working with healthcare professionals, patients, and community customers.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

- Full, valid Australian Drivers Licence with a clean record
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment physical assessment
- Fully vaccinated against Covid and Flu (proof required)
- Willingness to obtain (or already hold):
- National Police Check
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
