About the role
We are seeking an experienced Administration professional to join the Boodles Concrete team in Chinchilla, QLD 4413 on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role that will provide essential administrative and office support to our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of our business. As Administration, you will be the backbone of our office workplace, managing critical processes, communications, and organisational tasks that support our entire team and enable us to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key responsibilities
Managing general office administration tasks, including filing, scheduling, and data entry
Answering phones, responding to emails, and providing professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Preparing and maintaining administrative documentation, records, and correspondence
Coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel as required
Assisting with processing invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation
Supporting human resources functions, including recruitment coordination and employee onboarding
Maintaining office supplies inventory and liaising with suppliers
Performing general duties to support operational efficiency and team effectiveness
Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc administrative requirements as needed
What we're looking for
Proven experience in an administration or office support role within a commercial or industrial environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated experience with general accounting or bookkeeping functions
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Professional manner and strong customer service orientation
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing business needs
Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or concrete industry is advantageous
