We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at New Day Construction in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality carpentry services for a diverse range of residential and commercial construction projects.

What you'll be doing

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures and components such as framing, flooring, stairs, and cabinets
- Installing finishing touches like trim, moulding, and hardware
- Troubleshooting and resolving any construction issues that arise
- Maintaining a safe and clean work setting
- Collaborating with other tradespeople, site managers, and clients to ensure project success

What we're looking for

- Formal carpentry or construction qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Carpentry)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Carpenter, preferably in both residential and commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of building codes,



construction methods, and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
