House Manager-Intensive Therapeutic Care (Permanency Support Program)

Location: (South-West Sydney) - Campbelltown Region, NSW
Award Classification: SCHADS Level 4 with + 12% superannuation.
(Salary hourly rate dependent on qualification and experience.)
Salary packaging: Salary packaging up to $15,900 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
As an ITC House Manager, you will:
Provide leadership, supervision, and trauma‑informed therapeutic care to young people residing in the ITC home, ensuring the effective day‑to‑day operation of the household.
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and healing physical environment that meets all regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements,
including the 10 Essential Elements of Therapeutic Care and OCG Accreditation Standards.
Work collaboratively with the Therapeutic Specialist and ITC Case Manager to develop, implement, and review young people's Care and Therapeutic Support Plans.
Promote positive developmental, cultural, social, and therapeutic outcomes by facilitating meaningful activities and life experiences, while advocating for each young person's needs and ensuring their voice and perspectives are heard and respected.
Lead staff supervision and team meetings, oversee consistent and effective rostering practices, and participate in the organisation's after‑hours on‑call roster as required.
What you will bring:
A relevant Bachelor's degree (Social Work, Social Welfare, Social Science, Psychology or Mental Health);
Or
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a relevant Diploma and Graduate Certificate relevant to ITC (Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma, or Graduate Certificate in Statutory Child Protection, or Graduate Certificate in Client Intervention and Case Management) would meet FACS' service requirements
A current NSW Working with Children Check, Current Driver's License, Current First Aid Certificate.
Candidates must hold current registration under the NSW Residential Care Worker Register at the time of appointment.
Candidates must have a minimum three (3) years' experience working in Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) and/or the child protection sector.
High level knowledge and practice skills to meet the needs of adolescents and their families, who have experienced abusive relationship trauma and significant adversity. Including those from an Aboriginal or culturally and Linguistically Diverse background.
Competent understanding of NSW Child Safe Standards for Permanent Care, NSW Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 and Regulation 2012.
High level report writing skills and quality verbal communication skills.
