Brassets Group is seeking an Administrative Officer to join our team in Hillcrest, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our business. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support across the organisation, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to the overall success of our teams. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of organisational excellence.
What you'll be
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings and coordinating diaries for senior staff members and departments
- Preparing and maintaining accurate administrative records, files and documentation in both electronic and physical formats, Attention to detail is essential
- Managing and maintaining compliance with ISO and NATA accreditations (including documentation, audits and continuous improvement activities)
- Occasional travel to support operations or client needs (as required)
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters and packages
- Providing reception and front-desk support, including greeting visitors and directing enquiries appropriately
- Assisting with the organisation of meetings, events and training sessions, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Utilising office management systems and software to streamline administrative processes
- Performing general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, data entry and office supply management
- Liaising with external stakeholders, service providers and clients on behalf of the organisation
What we're looking for
- A person with a bubbly happy personality who thrives in a supportive friendly work environment
- Experience working in an administrative or office support role,
ideally within a fast-paced business environment although not essential as full training is provided
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with qualified presentation standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Competence with office management systems and general IT literacy
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining professional standards
- Preferably, experience in data management, records administration or reception support would enhance your candidacy
