The Role

- Designing commercial Audio Visual, Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions
- Producing AV schematics, system layouts, rack elevations, cable schedules and technical documentation
- Consulting with clients to understand operational requirements and recommend best-fit technology solutions
- Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs),



Scopes of Work (SOWs), quotations and tender responses
- Supporting the Sales team with technical presentations, solution demonstrations and customer workshops
- Designing systems incorporating displays, LED walls, projection, DSPs, control systems, digital signage, Microsoft Teams Rooms and Video Conferencing technologies
- Developing IP-based AV, networked audio and collaboration solutions
- Conducting site inspections, client meetings and technical surveys
- Providing engineering support throughout installation, commissioning and project delivery
- Working closely with Project Managers, Programmers, Consultants and Installation teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers and staying current with emerging AV technologies

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience within Commercial Audio Visual Integration in a Pre-Sales, Design Engineering, Solutions Engineering or Solutions Architect role is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of commercial AV technologies including DSPs, control systems, Unified Communications and Video Conferencing
- Experience producing AV schematics, technical documentation and system designs
- Exposure to BOM creation, tender responses, quotations and solution proposals
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of networked AV, IP infrastructure and workplace collaboration technologies

Highly Regarded

- AVIXA CTS / CTS-D Certification
- Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Extron, Cisco, Logitech, Poly, Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar technologies
- AutoCAD, Visio or similar design software experience
- Experience within commercial integration projects across Corporate, Government, Education or Healthcare environments
- Previous experience supporting tenders, consultants or specification-based projects
