Shift: AM shift - Monday to Friday and half-day Saturday

Multiquip Poultryis a national leader in Australia's poultry industry, specialising in feed transportation and farm operations. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our dedicated team.

We are looking for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our Engineering Department at least 2 years’ experience using manual lathe, Drilling and milling machine, CNC lathe experience will be advantage.

The Role:

- Operating Manual Lathe, Milling and Drilling machine
- Operate a variety of precision CNC Lathe machines
- Read, interpret, and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards, specifications, and work instructions.
- Comply with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery and equipment as required.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, including Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Human Resources (HR), and Compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation.
- Complete all required training through the Online Learning Management System (Multilearn).
- Immediately report any hazards, near misses, incidents, or unsafe work practices.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.

About You:

- Previous experience as a Manual Machinist




- Recent experience machining parts on manual lathes and milling machines to small tolerance
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Certificate III in Engineering (Fitting and Turning) (MEM30205) or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar position within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Committed to working safely, confidently, and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Forklift licence preferred
