Responsibilities include:

- Conducting workplace inspections and behavioural safety observations.
- Participation in pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Assisting with hazard identification, risk assessments and SWMS.
- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Delivering and assisting with safety inductions.
- Maintaining WHS records, registers and compliance documentation.
- Assisting with contractor onboarding and compliance.
- Supporting internal audits and continuous improvement initatives.
- Providing practical WHS advise to employees and contractors.

About You

We are looking for someone you enjoys working with people, has a practical approach to safety and wants to continue developing in their career.

You will ideally have:

- Current IV in Work Health and Safety (or currently studying)
- Current Drivers Licence
- First Aid
- Construction White Card (desirable)
- Experience with construction, civil infrastructure or heavy industry (preferred)
- Sound understanding of WHS legislation and risk management principles.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Good computer skills,



including Microsoft Office and electronic WHS systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with a genuine commitment to workplace safety
