National Quality Manager (Precast Concrete Manufacturing)

Civilcast is an Australian-owned market leader providing a diverse range of high-quality products for civil construction and infrastructure projects. We're growing fast, and we need a National Quality Manager to build and own the quality system that gets us there.

The Role

This is a national leadership role, based in Cowra, responsible for the quality strategy and standards across our entire network — manufacturing, warehousing, and branches.

You'll own our Quality Management System end to end, lead and develop our site-based QA Managers, and drive real, measurable improvement in how we manufacture and deliver product. You'll be the technical authority on quality across the business, and the person our sites and our customers turn to when it matters.

What You'll Be Doing

Owning and continuously improving a single national QMS, aligned to AS, ASTM, PCI, ISO 9001/14001/45001.

Setting consistent quality standards, ITPs, and inspection regimes across all sites.

Leading the national audit calendar and driving compliance across every location.

Leading, mentoring, and developing site QA Managers and their teams.

Driving lean/Six Sigma initiatives and rolling out best practice network-wide.





Owning national NCR and customer complaint resolution.

Reporting quality KPIs through our EOS scorecards and rocks, and chairing our national quality forum.

Getting out to our branches regularly — this isn't a desk job.

What You'll Bring

Formal training or education in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Construction Management, or a related field.

Certifications in Quality Management Systems (QLS), PCI, ACI, or Six Sigma are preferred.

Minimum 5 years' experience in quality management, process improvement, or operations.

Solid knowledge of precast production, concrete technology, and testing methods.

Experience implementing ISO 9001 (14001/45001 highly regarded), lead auditor certification a plus.

Strong stakeholder management and leadership across a dispersed team.

A "say it straight" communicator who reports up early and doesn't sit on problems.
