We’re seeking a FIRE TECHNICIAN to join our team at Australian Fire Services MLM, our office is located in the in Parramatta, NSW 2150 district.

This is a hands‑on role working across commercial, residential, schools, NDIS and warehouses sites, carrying out fault finding, servicing and repairs on fire systems equipment to help ensure our clients remain safe and compliant.

The nominated candidate will be working within the Sydney metropolitan area, as well as the north and south coast

Key Responsibilities:

- Fault finding and repairs on fire panels and detection systems
- Routine servicing and testing (AS1851)
- Working on fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers and extinguishers
- Minor installs and system modifications
- Respond to urgent callouts and diagnose system issues
- Record all work completed in Uptick
- Communicate with clients regarding compliance requirements




- Ensure all work meets Australian Standards and relevant regulations

What We’re Looking For

- Electrician license, Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire services
- Solid knowledge of fire systems and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
