Drew Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking a Civil Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team on a casual full-time basis. This is a hands-on position based in Newcastle NSW 2300 and surrounding areas including Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley Region, where you will play a vital role in the successful completion of civil construction projects. As a Civil Construction Labourer, you will be fundamental to our operations, supporting skilled trades and contributing directly to the quality and safety of our construction sites. This role offers an excellent prospect to develop your skills within the civil construction industry whilst working alongside experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and maintain construction sites by clearing debris, moving materials and organising work areas. While also maintaining general site maintenance and housekeeping to keep work areas clean.

Assist with general civil labouring duties

Operate rollers, level and compact soil and other materials according to project specifications and site plans

Work closely with Supervisors, Plant Operators, and Ground Crew

Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures

What we're looking for

Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one

Full Australian driving license and reliable transport to site

Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship





Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Excellent attendance record and reliability

Previous experience on residential or commercial construction projects is desirable
