About the opportunity

As the Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational management and ongoing maintenance of Footprints' Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring organisational quality systems, controlled documentation, quality registers and governance processes are maintained to support safe, high-quality and person-led service delivery.

Reporting to the Quality Improvement Manager, the role provides specialist quality systems expertise across the organisation, coordinating document control, policy governance, complaints and feedback administration, quality reporting and continuous improvement systems. The role contributes to organisational compliance with legislative, contractual and accreditation requirements while supporting managers to implement effective quality improvement practices.

Success in this role requires a highly organised professional with well-developed analytical, communication and systems management skills. The incumbent exercises sound judgement, identifies opportunities to improve organisational systems and processes, provides advice to staff on quality management practices and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and organisational excellence.

What you will bring:





- Demonstrated experience coordinating quality management systems, including document governance, quality registers, document control and continuous improvement systems.
- Demonstrated experience with document reviews, consolidations and consistency practices across varying programs within an organisation
- Experience supporting feedback and complaints systems, including trend analysis and action tracking.
- Solid understanding of quality frameworks relevant to community services (HSQS, Aged Care Quality Standards, Mental Health Standards).
- Experience maintaining organisational quality and compliance registers and interpreting information to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating quality improvement activities and monitoring implementation of improvement actions.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating quality assurance activities, including internal reviews, document compliance monitoring, quality system audits and the monitoring of corrective actions.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to edit, proof and structure policy and procedural documents.
- Ability to prepare clear reports, correspondence, and presentations and analyse quality information.
- Collaborative approach to teamwork, with a capacity to support and guide others in understanding quality and compliance requirements.
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgement within established organisational frameworks.




- Experience using electronic Quality Management Systems and governance software.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word (templates, formatting), Excel (registers and logs) and SharePoint or similar platforms.
- Project coordination skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
- Advanced document management and records management skills.

Requirements:

- Current Queensland Class C Driver's Licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or current Yellow Card and Blue Card.
- Qualifications in quality management, information management, human services or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
