St George Motor Boat Club are seeking a full time reliable and hardworking Slipway Operations Assistant to join our busy marine services team. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone with boating experience who enjoys working outdoors in a dynamic waterfront environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with launching and retrieving vessels on and off the slipway.

Assist with cleaning and preparing boat hulls for maintenance works.

Assist with masking and application of antifoul coatings.

Assist with Prop Speed preparation and application.

Wash and detail vessels upon completion of maintenance works.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the slipway, work areas, and equipment.

Support the team in general marine maintenance and yard operations.

Demonstrated experience operating and manoeuvring a wide range of vessels.





Ability to confidently drive vessels of various sizes and types.

Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.

Ability to work safely around marine equipment and vessels.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Current driver's licence preferred.
