About Us

We are a well-established residential and commercial construction subcontractor specialising in plasterboard (gyprock), lightweight partition systems, suspended ceilings and external cladding. We deliver high-quality projects across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, and government sectors throughout NSW.

We are seeking an experienced Mid-level to Senior Estimator to join our team based in Burwood, NSW. This is a key leadership role responsible for preparing competitive tenders, managing tender submissions, and supporting business growth.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for residential and commercial wall and ceiling packages. You will work closely with our project delivery team and play a key role in securing recent projects and supporting the continued growth of our business.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the estimating process from tender invitation through to submission.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Preparing accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Obtaining and negotiating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, pricing schedules, and tender submissions.
- Identifying project risks,



exclusions and value engineering opportunities.
- Attend pre-tender meetings, site inspections, and client briefings.
- Liaising with builders, architects, consultants, suppliers and internal project teams.
- Supporting project handover following successful tender awards.

About You

We're looking for an experienced estimator who is commercially minded, organised and passionate about delivering accurate and competitive tenders.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 5 years' estimating experience in residential and commercial construction.
- Proven experience estimating gyprock, lightweight partitions, suspended ceilings and external cladding packages.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction practices, the NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Full Australian working rights and a current NSW driver’s licence
