As an AWS Engineer, you will work across several pieces of work at once (client delivery and our own internal capability), building secure, automated cloud and security solutions. You are comfortable moving between engagements as priorities shift and delivering with limited oversight.
Your core is hands‑on AWS engineering building, automating, securing and operating cloud infrastructure across a range of work. Where it adds value, you will use AWS Bedrock to build AI‑assisted workflows that accelerate how we and our clients operate. You will also help build tooling and accelerators and provide additional engineering capacity where our senior product engineering is stretched.
On the security side, you will be familiar with establishing governance and guardrails for enterprise grade AWS environment, including native AWS Services (Identity Centre, SCPs / RCPs, GuardDuty Runtime protections, KMS) and third‑party security products (Wiz, Prisma or similar). Equally, an understand on secure orchestration and automation of workload deployment into AWS is important, including Policy as Code and CI Pipeline security gates. You will have exposure and understanding to utilising AI for building workflows across vulnerability management, and continuous threat and exposure management (CTEM) workflows.
You will also work directly on client engagements - for example a current cyber transition (carve out), where you will support AWS security hardening, disaster recovery and backups as one valuable part of a wide-ranging role. We are a team of doers and keeping your technical skills sharp matters to us. We actively support ongoing training and encourage you to engage with the industry, including cybersecurity conferences and social media.

- 5 or more years of hands‑on experience in AWS cloud and/or security engineering.
