Task & Responsibilities
- Assemble cabinetry and joinery products according to design plans and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, and modify materials accurately, ensuring precise alignment and finishing.
- Install cabinets and joinery on-site in residential and commercial settings.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised workspace at all times.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders.
- Measure and layout timber, laminate, or MDF for cutting and assembly.
- Operate hand and power tools including saws, routers, and sanders.
- Join components using appropriate tools and adhesives to produce durable and well-finished cabinetry.
- Perform on-site installation in accordance with site requirements and safety standards.
- Sand and finish surfaces to a high standard using veneers, stains, or paint.
- Conduct repairs or modifications as required.
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
Qualification & Experience
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in cabinetry or joinery.
- Proven experience working with timber and other relevant materials.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, high standards of craftsmanship, and pride in your work.
