Our client is a major national security integrator specialising in complex electronic security installations and large-scale enterprise monitoring solutions. They have secured a long-term partnership to manage the electronic security assets for Transport for NSW critical infrastructure divisions.
They are seeking a skilled technician to be seconded directly to these teams, maintaining top-tier public assets including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Anzac Bridge and other landmarks.
This role focuses on high-level preventative maintenance, system testing, and fault rectification within a highly secure environment. While existing manufacturer certifications are highly regarded, the company will invest in providing full training and certifications for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and service integrated electronic security systems across key government infrastructure assets.
Diagnose and resolve technical faults across enterprise-grade CCTV networks and access control systems.
- Work on live construction sites, tunnels and iconic landmarks
- Perform software updates, system programming, and routine configuration tasks on site.
- Ensure all site works comply strictly with government critical infrastructure safety and operational standards.
Ideal Background
- You have a solid track record as an electronic security technician working within commercial or industrial environments.
- You hold or have a robust understanding of Genetec VMS, access control, or Challenger 10 systems.
- You possess a current NSW Security Licence, White Card, and a valid driver licence.
- You have the ability to pass comprehensive background checks required for high-security public infrastructure sites.
