ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

The Coordinator Infrastructure Engineering leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for the planning, design, development and management of critical community infrastructure. Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure Services, this influential leadership role plays a key part in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes across road, transport, drainage, development and floodplain management programs.
As the technical leader of the Infrastructure Engineering team, this role provides strategic direction, professional expertise and operational oversight across survey, design, traffic, development and flood engineering functions. They drive the delivery of Council's capital works design program, support sustainable development outcomes, oversee flood risk management initiatives and provide expert advice on the stewardship of Council's infrastructure assets.

Essential to this role is degree qualification in Engineering, and eligibility to obtain full membership of Engineers Australia, combined with demonstrated contemporary experience in the management,



maintenance, design and construction of roads, transport and drainage infrastructure.

This role requires detailed knowledge of technical specifications, project evaluation techniques, financial planning, cost estimating, asset management systems, geotechnical engineering, contract documentation and management of consultant services.

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with practical project delivery, stakeholder engagement and team leadership.

This position is offered on a Permanent, Full time basis working 35 hours per week. Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 15 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a TRP of $168,276 - $186,643 per annum consisting of a base salary of $126,909 - $142,753, 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance, Motor Vehicle allowance of $18,895.73 and 12% superannuation.
