Deliver Major Infrastructure Projects from Award to Completion

Evolution Precast is a leading precast concrete manufacturer delivering major infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and construction projects across NSW, QLD, and VIC. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Projects team.

This is a pivotal role responsible for the successful delivery of major precast concrete projects, acting as the primary interface between Evolution Precast and the Principal Contractor while coordinating engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and installation activities from contract award through to practical completion.

About the Role

Reporting to the Engineering & Commercial Director, the Project Manager will take full ownership of nominated projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and client requirements.

Working closely with a dedicated Project Engineer and our engineering, production, logistics, and quality teams, you will coordinate all aspects of project delivery while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, builders, and site teams. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex, high-profile projects while playing a key role in the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of allocated projects from contract award through to practical completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Evolution Precast and the Principal Contractor.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, commercial performance, procurement, variations, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate engineering, drafting, manufacturing,



quality, logistics, and installation activities to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor project performance, manage project risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Work closely with Project Engineers and internal operational teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and key stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with contractual requirements, Australian Standards, and company quality and safety systems.
- Maintain accurate project reporting, forecasting, and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery and customer outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced construction Project Manager with a strong engineering background and a proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects. You are commercially astute, highly organised, and confident managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, project performance, and commercial outcomes.

Ideally, you have experience working for a specialist subcontractor or supplier within the construction industry and understand the critical interface between manufacturing, logistics, installation, and the Principal Contractor.

Skills & Experience





- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within commercial construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, infrastructure, or precast concrete industries.
- Experience managing projects on behalf of a subcontractor or specialist construction supplier.
- Demonstrated experience acting as the primary interface with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Principal Contractors.
- Strong commercial and contractual management capability.
- Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and construction.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Robust understanding of project scheduling, risk management, and project controls.
- Experience delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Project Management qualifications or formal project management training highly regarded.
- Construction White Card.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Business, Commercial Management, Project Management, or an MBA will be highly regarded.
