Your Role:
As our Head Veterinary Nurse, you will oversee and guide our nursing team, ensuring that clinical protocols are adhered to,
and the hospital is running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and mentoring a team of veterinary nurses, ensuring excellent patient care and efficient workflow.
- Coordinating nursing services, assisting with surgeries, administering medications, and managing treatment plans.
- Maintaining high standards of patient care, cleanliness, and organization within the hospital.
- Assisting with client communication and offering support in consultations and follow-up care.
- Training and developing junior veterinary nurses and supporting their professional growth.
- Working closely with veterinarians to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.
About You
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with leadership or senior nurse experience highly regarded
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong team player with the ability to lead by example
- Passionate about providing gold-standard care for patients and clients
