Our Reservations Team plays a vital role in the guest journey, from the moment visitors book their experience through to welcoming them on arrival. Based at our award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park in Kuranda, this role offers a unique combination of reservations, guest service and tourism operations.
The Opportunity
We are seeking multiple Reservations Team Members to join our growing team across full-time and casual positions.
This unique role combines reservations administration with front-line guest engagement. You'll be just as comfortable managing bookings and reservation systems as you are welcoming guests, coordinating group arrivals and helping create exceptional experiences throughout the park.
Key Responsibilities
Reservations & customer service: Manage bookings, amendments and guest enquiries via phone, email and in person while delivering exceptional customer service.
Guest liaison & sales: Welcome guests, assist tour leaders and group organisers, conduct meet-and-greet duties for arriving tour coaches and shuttle services,
and assist with walk-up ticket sales.
Administration & coordination: Maintain accurate booking records, process payments and reconciliations, and liaise with internal departments, travel agents and trade partners to ensure smooth daily operations.
Quality & safety: Uphold CaPTA Group standards for guest experience, safety, quality and environmental responsibility.
What You'll Bring
Customer focus: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
Attention to detail: Strong organisational skills and accuracy when handling bookings, payments and guest information.
Communication & personality: A warm, confident and professional approach with the ability to engage with guests, tour leaders and colleagues.
Technical skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. Respax/CobberX experience is highly regarded.
Experience: Previous reservations, tourism, sales or customer service experience is beneficial. Applications are welcome from both experienced reservations professionals and entry-level candidates.
Flexibility: Comfortable balancing desk-based reservations work with active guest-facing duties throughout the park.
Licence & transport: A current driver's licence and reliable transport are essential, as this position is based at Rainforestation Nature Park in Kuranda.
Availability: Ability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
