About Us

Mechpro Solutions is a NSW-based mechanical services, fabrication, and project delivery contractor with current operations spanning NSW and Victoria. We deliver for major energy, mining, and industrial clients. Our Beresfield workshop is the operational hub for fabrication and workshop-based project delivery.

We're growing, and we are looking for a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to keep materials, equipment, and freight moving efficiently through our Beresfield workshop and out to project sites.

About the Role

Based full-time at our Beresfield workshop, you will be the central point of coordination for procurement and logistics across our active fabrication and project scopes. You will work closely with our, Project Managers, Supervisors and QA/QC team to ensure the right materials and equipment land in the right place at the right time keeping jobs on schedule and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Source, negotiate, and place purchase orders for raw materials, consumables, plant, and equipment

Coordinate inbound and outbound freight and logistics between the Beresfield workshop and project sites

Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance, pricing, and lead times

Track purchase orders, deliveries, and stock levels to prevent workshop delays

Liaise with Project Managers and the Workshop Supervisor to align procurement with project schedules





Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records in line with our QA/QC and ISO-certified processes

Support cost control and reporting on materials spend against project budgets

Assist with import/export coordination where required for overseas-sourced components

What We're Looking For

Demonstrated experience in a procurement, purchasing, or logistics coordination role, ideally within fabrication, construction, mining, or industrial services

Strong working knowledge of supply chain and freight coordination (road freight, remote-site logistics highly regarded)

Confident negotiator with solid supplier management experience

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills you will be juggling multiple live jobs at once

Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Understanding of QA/QC documentation requirements in an ISO-certified setting (desirable)

Clear communicator, comfortable liaising directly with workshop staff, project managers, and suppliers

Current driver's licence
