Trade Assistant – Warehouse & Factory Operations

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Trade Assistant to support our warehouse and factory operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic and the ability to adapt across a variety of tasks within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties

- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

- General stock handling and inventory support

- Safe movement of materials throughout the warehouse and factory

- Maintaining a clean, organised and secure workspace

Forklift Operations

- Loading and unloading vehicles

- Moving stock and materials around the facility

- Operating forklifts safely in accordance with site procedures

Workshop & Trade Support





- Assisting trades and production teams with:

- Cutting steel using bandsaws or cold saws

- Drilling, punching and basic fabrication prep

- Grinding, deburring and general workshop finishing

- Surface and paint preparation

- Following safe operating procedures for all tools and equipment

About You

- Current LF forklift licence

- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing or trade environments

- Physically capable and safety-focused

- Able to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team

- Willing to take on additional duties to support productivity as required
