About the role:
If successful, you will provide anefficient, effective and secure centralised and remote networkservice for AMES Australia staff and clients.
To be considered for this role, you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Minimum of Degree in ComputerScience, IT or related field and/or Demonstrated experienceworking in this field
- Knowledge and demonstrated abilityto work with Microsoft and Citrix technologies in both cloudand on-premise platforms
- Knowledge of and demonstratedability to work with Storage Area Networks, Virtualisation andRemote Access technologies and Open Sourceplatforms
- Valuable problem solving skills anddemonstrated ability to successfully resolve hardware andsoftware problems in an efficient manner
- Good communication skills and theability to liaise with a range of staff and externalagencies
- Demonstrated ability to managesystem implementation projects within timelines
- Ability to produce coherentdocumentation and reports targeted at both user and technicallevels
- Continually maintain and acquirenew professional skills through training, research andself-study
- Demonstrated positive values ofintegrity, reliability, teamwork, professionalism anddemonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvementprinciples
