Tibbs Fleet Services is looking for an experienced, organised and confident Service Receptionist to join our team full-time.
This isn't a role where you'll simply answer phones. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers and the person who keeps our workshop running smoothly by coordinating bookings, communicating with technicians, and ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently.
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greeting customers and creating a positive first impression.
- Answering phones and responding to email enquiries.
- Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing the daily schedule.
- Liaising with technicians to monitor job progress.
- Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Preparing invoices and processing paperwork.
- Ordering parts and assisting with administrative duties.
- Maintaining accurate records across our workshop management systems.
- Supporting the team to ensure the workshop operates efficiently.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in reception, service advising or administration.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritise work and make decisions without constant supervision.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- High attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
Experience in the automotive, heavy vehicle, transport or mechanical industry is highly regarded but not essential.
