A leading global advice technology business is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join their team on an initial 3-month contract based in Sydney with a hybrid working model.

This is a hands-on leadership role sitting between engineering, implementation and client delivery, responsible for driving the successful implementation and integration of a SaaS platform across enterprise financial services clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery of all technical aspects of platform implementations, including solution architecture, configuration and integration with client environments.
- Work closely with product, engineering and delivery teams to develop and implement best-practice configuration and integration methodologies.
- Lead technical workstreams across client engagements, including workshops, solution design, effort estimation and release management.
- Manage technical sprints, overseeing ticket allocation, delivery progress, risks and issue escalation.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide oversight of production support activities, incident management and client communications for critical issues.
- Document technical configurations and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Configure platform functionality using JSON, HTML and Python.




- Test and validate configuration changes using tools such as Postman.
- Troubleshoot issues across test and production environments.
- Produce executive-level reporting on delivery performance and technical service provision.
- Represent the technical function in client governance forums and stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to enhance implementation methodologies, technical documentation and service management processes.

Required Experience

- 10+ years' experience in client-facing technical roles.
- 5+ years' experience delivering SaaS platforms across implementation and engineering environments.
- Strong experience in enterprise solution architecture and systems integration.
- Deep understanding of API development, integration technologies, security and data integration models.
- Hands-on experience with JSON, HTML and Python.
- Solid troubleshooting capability across application, integration and infrastructure layers.
- Experience working within AWS-based environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead technical delivery while remaining hands-on.
- Experience working with enterprise financial services organisations.
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
