South Coast Liquid Treatment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in South Nowra, NSW. This is a full time position that plays a strategic role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our treatment facility & fleet of trucks. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for optimising operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing teams, and driving continuous improvement across all operational areas. This role is integral to our business success and your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver quality services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily operational activities across the liquid treatment facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows

Manage, supervise and develop operational staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and fostering a positive team culture

Monitor and maintain quality standards, safety protocols and regulatory compliance across all operational processes

Implement and maintain health and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all staff

Analyse operational metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives

Manage inventory, equipment maintenance schedules and procurement of materials required for operations

Liaise with management and clients to ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and timelines

Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, quality and sustainability

Respond to operational challenges and implement corrective actions as required

What we’re looking for

Experience in operations management or a similar supervisory role within manufacturing, logistics or industrial environments





Proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving operational performance improvements

Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance standards

Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Proficiency with operational management systems and data analysis tools

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels

Relevant qualifications in operations management, business management or a related field (preferred)

Experience in the liquid treatment, water management or chemical processing industries (desirable)
