Ausmech Offroad and Mechanical & Fulcrum Suspensions Ipswich is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team in Raceview, Queensland. As a full-time Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring our clients' transportation needs are met efficiently and effectively. At Ausmech we are a one stop shop, from wheels, tyres and alignments to bash trays, snorkels and bull bars to every day repairs and maintenance- we are looking for a team member who is keen and eager.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles as well as suspension modifications and vehicle enhancements such as bull bars, winches, accessories, etc.
- Utilise your technical expertise to identify and resolve complex mechanical problems
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure work is completed to the highest standards
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field (3rd or 4th year apprentices encouraged to apply also).
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
