Operate and Assist We have an opportunity for a Quarry Operator to join our team at Clarence Quarry located within the Blue Mountains near Lithgow, New South Wales. Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor this is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and potential Saturday work. We are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as be willing and able to work a diverse role in sand washing plant operations and general maintenance activities.

In your new role with us, you will:

- Operate mobile equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators
- Operate the sand washing plant
- General fixed plant inspections & maintenance
- During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed

This role is a great fit for you if you have:

- Valid tickets and experience (preferred) operating a Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
- Total commitment to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership
- Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures
- Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised
- Professional work ethic with a "can do" attitude

What we offer:

- Base hourly rate from $35.54 and up to $39.35 – pending qualifications & experience + overtime rates + super
- Shifts start at 6am and working 8-10 hours, on average. Usually, a 4pm finish.
