The Role
We are currently seeking a Development Manager to manage approvals for residential subdivisions and the civil construction process. Working collaboratively with the Greater Development Team, you will deliver quality and timely planning for Ausbuild Communities.

This role will see you:

Manage allocated land estate projects from due diligence handover through to completion.

Arrange land access, demolition, permits and utility disconnections for developments.

Conduct pre-lodgement meetings, identify risks and manage Development Approval compliance.

Manage project planning, budgets, cost control, forecasting, tender reviews and program delivery.

Monitor project milestones, risks, quality, safety, environmental management and deliverables.

Manage project changes and provide regular status reporting on scope, budget, time and performance.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align programs of work and drive successful project outcomes.

Manage resource performance, compliance and knowledge transfer.

Develop strong working relationships, solve problems and drive projects to successful completion with the Development Team.

Arrange maintenance works and liaise with internal teams on drawings, as-constructed documentation and civil construction matters.

Identify and implement industry best practice and drive business initiatives.

The Person

A tertiary qualification in project management, property development finance, engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years' development management experience in land development (essential).

Minimum 5 years' engineering experience (desirable).

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.

Construction Induction (White Card).

Proactive approach to site investigation, development approvals and project delivery.

Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Strong focus on achieving targets and delivering quality outcomes.
