We are seeking a commercially minded and analytical Demand Planner to develop, maintain and continuously improve demand and sales forecasts across our Distribution Centres and Quick Service Restaurant customers. This role plays a critical part in translating product demand signals into accurate supply plans that support service, inventory, waste and working capital outcomes
Working cross-functionally, you will contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)processes by providing clear demand insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting consensus-based forecasting across the business
Day to day you will:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across products and customer networks
- Analyse demand trends, seasonal impacts, promotions and market activity to improve forecast accuracy
- Contribute to S&OP; and IBP processes through demand insights, scenario planning and reporting
- Partner with Supply, Inventory and Restaurant Planning teams to balance service, inventory and supply outcomes
- Identify forecast risks, variances and improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis
- Support new product launches, business projects and network growth initiatives
- Contribute as a key member of the Supply Chain Solutions leadership team
About You:
- Ability to analyse complex data, identify demand trends, and develop accurate forecasts that support business objectives
- Use data and insights to identify trends, solve problems, and improve forecast accuracy
- Proven experience in supply chain planning roles (demand, inventory, or supply), ideally within FMCG, food or logistics
- Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment and planning processes
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
- Advanced analytical capability with strong Excel and systems experience (SAP, JDE or similar)
- Experience contributing to IBP/S&OP; processes (highly regarded)
- Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive change across processes and teams
