About the Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Internal Auditor to join our Compliance, Risk and Administration team in Bundaberg. This role will focus on our Quality Management System framework and is responsible for scheduling, undertaking internal audits and self‑assessments against the relevant accredited and non‑accredited standards.
What you'll be doing
Develop and manage annual audit and compliance schedules aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and organisational requirements.
Plan and coordinate audits across multiple standards, including NDIS, Human Services Quality Standards,
Child Safe Standards, and Mental Health Standards.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings, non‑conformities, and recommendations to management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by assisting managers to strengthen compliance, best practice, and operational effectiveness.
Assist with compliance self‑assessments and document control, ensuring standards are maintained and updated as required
About you
To be successful in the role:
Previous experience in compliance roles and conducting internal audits
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write professional reports.
Ability to investigate issues, analyze information, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
Engage effectively with staff, clients, and key stakeholders across the organization.
Proven ability to plan work, coordinate activities, and meet deadlines.
Working autonomously while demonstrating self‑motivation, initiative, and accountability.
Qualification in auditing would be desirable
