About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves supporting daily warehouse operations while also completing local deliveries to customers in a protected and timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, physically fit, customer-focused, and holds a valid C – Class driver’s licence.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming stock and deliveries
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory control
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if licensed)
- Label and store products correctly
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Delivery Driver Duties
- Able to drive van in busy areas and willing to travel to NSW regional areas
- Deliver goods to customers and clients safely and efficiently
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Obtain proof of delivery and maintain delivery records
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse or delivery driving experience preferred
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- May require Police check for some customers
- Willing to be vaccinated if required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices
- Basic computer skills are an advantage
What We Offer
Hourly rate between $32 to 34 plus super
