Apprentice Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics - 2027 Intake

About the Role

Blenners Transport are currently seeking expressions of interest for our 2027 Apprenticeship Intake for our Brisbane Depot - specifically for Apprentice Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics.

This is a full-time position, with both on and off the job (TAFE) training, resulting in a Certificate III qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, with excellent ongoing career prospects.

To be considered for these positions, you will have completed a minimum of Year 10 of schooling, be keen, a team player, motivated, have a can-do attitude with a genuine interest in the Automotive industry and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Positions will commence in early 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Assist qualified mechanics with servicing and repairs of heavy commercial vehicles





Learn fault-finding and diagnostic procedures

Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Achieve all requirements of the TAFE Training Plan

Document all working evidence in your TAFE sign-off book

Role Requirements

Completed a minimum of Year 10 schooling

Genuine interest in the automotive and heavy vehicle industry

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset

Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Motivated, reliable and committed to completing the apprenticeship
