MARK FOODS PTY LTD is seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our culinary team on a full-time basis in Chipping Norton, NSW 2170. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers, contributing directly to the reputation and success of our establishment. Job Description:

- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role, or readiness to step up and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality dishes consistently, meeting business standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Strong time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and support kitchen operations.
- High level of resilience and adaptability, especially during busy service periods and changing operational demands.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen, with strong knowledge of food safety and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions accurately while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Flexibility to work across varying shifts, weekends, and peak trading periods as required by the business.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to take direction, provide feedback, and work effectively with chefs, kitchen staff,



and management.
- A qualified, humble, and reliable approach, with a genuine passion for food and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience working as a Cook in a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification where applicable
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, knife skills and food preparation methods
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods in a hot kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other departments
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- A passion for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality and culinary arts are desirable

What we offer

- MARK FOODS PTY LTD is committed to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace for all team members. Company offer full-time contract onannual salary between $ 80,000 - $ 85,000 depending on skills and experience in addition, the compulsory super contribution as applicable.
