Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with strong technical foundations looking to shape major rail infrastructure projects in Queensland?
We are currently partnering with Queensland Rail to source an exceptional Principal Systems Engineer for a key role working within the ETCS Alliance. You will join a dedicated team delivering complex, major rail system integrations across the network. Reporting to the Rail Engineering Systems Lead, you will provide expert systems engineering services, lead project-based technical packages, and ensure solutions are fit for purpose, safe, and commercially sound.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Execution & Assurance:
Provide expert systems engineering services throughout the project lifecycle, applying robust systems processes to complex rail infrastructure and operational environments.
- Engineering Certification: Serve as a skilled engineering authority to review and certify systems engineering works in compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Commercial & Delivery Focus: Work closely with project teams to complete deliverables against established KPIs, ensuring alignment with quality, budget, and safety expectations.
