We are excited to announce an opening for a Cartage Coordinator (or maybe 2) at our vibrant Sydney office! This is a fantastic chance for those seeking part-time, full-time, or flexible working options. Located conveniently at Matraville, we embrace flexible working models that allow you to balance your professional and personal life seamlessly.

Your purpose:

- Tracking of shipments through airlines or other freight forwarders and ensuring they are released to GEODIS for clearance with minimal delays
- Communicate effectively with various carriers to ensure customers delivery needs are met – all modes AIR/LCL/FCL
- Ensure all carriers have correct documentation in a timely manner to service our customers
- Maintain shipment status details and running commentary in EDI so accurate records are kept ensuring customers have correct details on their live websites
- Liaising with our customs broker to ensure that shipments run smoothly




- Invoice all files accurately and in timely manner in line with customer and GEODIS' KPI’s
- Process creditor invoices
- Ensuring all delays are communicated to our customers

You’ll bring:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cartage operations within the industry
- Understanding of Australian wharf, depot, airlines, and transport operations
- Knowledge of system literacy and data accuracy
- Time management and prioritising skills
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Experience with EDI-Cargo Wise software strongly preferred
