CCPS Little Learners Early Learning Centre is a well-equipped, modern and conveniently located 75 place early learning centre located in Caloundra City Private School. We are looking fora Diploma trained Educator to join our team in our kindergarten room, supporting our kindergarten teacher.

About the role

We are looking for educators, who wholeheartedly enjoy and thrive on working with children in their development, supporting their curiosity and independence. Someone who provides excellent care for their physical, emotional and wellbeing and who is confident and capable of working as part of a caring, energetic and fun team of early childhood educators.

You will be able to observe and document the children's interests and achievements big or small and gently support them in their development through playful, age appropriate and safe learning activities.

You will

- Create positive, professional and genuine relationships with your colleagues, children and their families
- Assist in the delivery of a meaningful, holisticeducational program based on the EYLF and QKLG and inspired by Learning Through Play philosophies and Nature Play QLD
- Have a high level ofmotivation and initiativewhilst being professional, proactive, flexible and fair
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Assist in the preparation of the QIP,



SIP and have the ability to review and implement policies and procedures

You will have

- Previous child care experience
- CurrentACECQAapproved Diploma qualification
- Current Working with Children Blue Card
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain
- Current Child Protection training
- Experience with Xplor software preferred but not essential

Our educational focus is on Learning Through Play and Nature Play and we are also an accredited Bush Kindy embedding activities such as outdoor play, bush walks, growing and harvesting plants in our permaculture garden into our program. In addition, we have access to the schools' sports grounds, indoor sports hall as well as playgrounds and facilities.
