The Role as an Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and families, supporting development, independence, participation,
and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and deliver tailored intervention programs
- Develop individualised therapy plans and monitor client progress
- Support children to develop skills across areas including fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, emotional regulation, and participation
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver holistic care
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and key stakeholders
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports, and records
- Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote best-practice, strengths-based, and family-centred approaches to care
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) registration
- Experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with paediatric clients is highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for delivering person-centred, evidence-based services
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Additional Requirements
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
